The Federal Government of the United States decided that all websites (including NOAA's) need to go on the HTTPS protocol (safer connection). It was planned sooner but the shutdown prevented that. Since last week it has changed...

OK I will wait the update on Opengrads (version 2.2.1). 
But one week before it was working. And I used for 5 months before. I did not seen such a problem during the time. Is there new thing now?

Hello Yared Godine Demeke,

The problem is that Opengrads (for windows) can't cope with the HTTPS protocols. The only solution (for now) is to download the grib and use Wesley's script to 'translate' the GFS data. I haven't figured this out yet, since I know there will be an update on Opengrads (version 2.2.1) very soon that will have SLL (thus https) implemented.

I am trying to access GrADS Data Server (GDS) in cola.gmu.edu website.

after this by taking the final link which is http://nomads.ncep.noaa.gov:80/dods/gfs_0p25/gfs20190214/gfs_0p25_00z
and opening in grads software using sdfopen command, the grads software displays the following:-

ga-> sdfopen
ga-> http://nomads.ncep.noaa.gov:80/dods/gfs_0p50/gfs20190214/gfs_0p50_0
ga-> 0z

Please help me how can I fix this problem?
