[gradsusr] Problem with Nomads servers

One way to workareound is to download the grib file then use Wesley’s script to create a CTL file. Though this is not the easiest way, unless you are good at scripting.

Hello Jennifer,

 

I have the same problem. Thank you for your answer. But it appears that COLA's version of GrADS is only for Linux and MAC, not for Windows. I tried it also with wget from a Cygwin console (not from OpenGrADS) and I got the same error message. I see no solution for Windows users.

Opengrads builds are not linked with an SSL-enabled version of the curl library, which means that they are unable to access HTTPS opendap URLs. 
Until Arlindo posts new builds, you will have to use COLA’s version of GrADS, version 2.1.1.b0 or newer.
