[gradsusr] problens with opendap from nomads

Important information for nomads.ncep.noaa.gov:9090 (OpenDAP) users. We are
unable to support both http and https simultaneously, so the transition
from http://nomads.ncep.noaa.gov:9090 to https://nomads.ncep.noaa.gov:9090 will
be a hard switch that is currently scheduled for 2/5/19 at 1500 UTC.
OpenDAP users can test their scripts by temporarily pointing to this URL:
  https://nomads-cprk.ncep.noaa.gov
