Hi Jennifer,
Quick question with your track maps - I seem to be having an issue with the plot points, it wants to perfectly align the dots in the centre of the grid point when using the aminlocx and aminlocy functions. This is leading to not nice looking track maps as you can see from below. Is this expected behaviour when you plot your track maps?

You could also do a check of each new position to make sure it is reasonably close to the previous position and if not to print out an error message. If the hurricane is moving very fast, or there are other systems nearby, you can get spurious results from the SLP minima calculations.

I’ve tried using the cone.gs script to plot the uncertainty track and also the ensemble track map however both appear to be getting confused by a secondary low forming which throws off the tracks? I was wondering if anyone has had this issue when dealing with ensemble tracks before.
