Yes i am currently using that in Malawi. First of all one has to create .ctl files from the forecast output which are grib format, then set path for your gme2ctl, grib2ctl and wrgrib files in your .bashrc file. I can send you a link to already made scripts which does everything by running a shell script called make_photos.sh
