[gradsusr] can't find GASCRP directory

Hi GrADS users,

Does anyone know if there are any system settings that could possibly affect the GrADS script search path besides GASCRP?

I recently installed GrADS 2.2 on a new computer (linux), and I’m not able to call scripts that are in my GASCRP directory: I get the message ‘Unknown command.'

As far as I can tell, my GASCRP directory is set properly:
Typing 
ga-> !ls $GASCRP
lists the scripts. The scripts run fine when I copy the full path output from this previous command.
