[gradsusr] Convert daily output to monthly average from CORDEX.

Dear All,
I am faced with the challenge of converting daily outputs of surface pressure to monthly averages. The data is sourced from CORDEX-Africa output from ESGF nodes. Previous scripts I found online were not helpful. Also, using cdo on my GrADS in windows 10 has not been successful too as it complains of some missing lib.
Can someone with similar experience suggest a way forward to me.
Thanks in anticipation. Dr Ugochukwu K. Okoro

Hi,

I am getting the following message while opening the grads in terminal

grads: /lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libcrypto.so.10: version `libcrypto.so.10' not
found (required by grads)
grads: /lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libssl.so.10: version `libssl.so.10' not found
 (required by grads)

Help me, how to solve this issue

Regards
Vijay

Hello,
does anybody know if it is possible to use template option over LEV?
I have different files for different z levels and I'd prefer not to
join them in a single file
Bye bye
Davide

Ask your system administrator to install the openssl library on your system. For legal reasons, it?s not possible for us to link that library statically in our portable executables, but it is required for access to some opendap servers that many of our users rely on.

Hi all

We had a user notice that the European boundaries we use for our
composite maps were out-of-date. We were using 'mres' from GrADS and we
switched to 'newmap' (don't see this documented on the GrADs help
pages). The US state boundaries don't draw with newmap so we have to use
mres. We also use hires for some maps. I notice the hires draws many
lakes and we don't want that. Even the mres draws some lakes.

What map boundaries should we use for Europe if we want country
boundaries? For the US including states? We would like simpler
boundaries (that is not too many lakes/rivers) but we do want them
up-to-date and not including non existent or changed countries.

Thanks for any insight.

Cathy Smith
