[gradsusr] Wrong Date information in grads

Dear Grads users
This is Suman from IIT Kharagpur, India. I am facing a very strange
problem. I have a netcdf file which is a 10 years (1980-1989) monthly
dataset having 4 months data (June-July-August-September) in each year. I
want to mean


*t=1,2,3,4 means 1980:June,July,August and September*
*t=5,6,7,8 means 1981:June,July,August and September*
*t=9,10,11,12 means 1982:June,July,August and September*
and so on.
But unfortunately when I open that netcdf file in grads, it shows



*t=1,2,3,4 means 1980:June,July,August and Septembert=5,6,7,8 means
1980:October, November, December and 1981:January *
*t=9,10,11,12 means 1981:February, March, April, May*
and so on.
I couldn't understand where is the problem.
Please reply. Any help will be highly solicited.
