[gradsusr] ver 2.1.2a error

[Love, Mr. Gary, Contractor, Code 7542]

Our precompiled version 2.1.2a has the following runtime error:
"error missing /lib64/4libc.so.6 : version GLIBC_2.7"

Is there an environment variable that can be set or some method to correct
this?  Or do we need to upgrade our linux OS?
