[gradsusr] Color shade area around maximum reflectivity

Hello,

Do you think there is a way to make 2D plot (a map) with color shading 
circular area around every coordinates where model radar reflectivity 
over some threshold is found?

What I suppose to do with this is to make a plot that will color the 
area with increased thunderstorm possibility. For example, if on 
particular location there is >50dBz of reflectivity, area of 50 
kilometers around that point should be shaded in red color.

Does this make any sense in GrADS?
