[gradsusr] Not able to plot area average values

Dear Grads,

I use the following set of commands:-

set t 1 573
set lon 1 88
LON set to 1 88
set lat 1 88
LAT set to 1 88
set mproj off
d aave(sce,x=10,x=75,y=0,y=45)

It gives me 573 individual
result values and does not plot anything


The .ctl file looks like this:-

DSET ^sce_mon_mean.nc
dtype netcdf
TITLE NOAA/NCDC Climate Data Record of snow cover extent
UNDEF  -9
XDEF x 88 LINEAR 1 1
YDEF y 88 LINEAR 1 1
TDEF time 573 LINEAR OCT1966 1MO
VARS 1
sce=>sce 0 1 Snow cover extent
ENDVARS

Any help will be appreciated.
