Hi Amina,

You can check out the precipitation data sets listed in the NCAR climate data guide: 
https://climatedataguide.ucar.edu/climate-data/precipitation-data-sets-overview-comparison-table

I haven’t tried, but I believe you can handle all of them in GrADS.
