[gradsusr] Unable to open .nc file in grads

Hi,

I am new to grads. I am trying to open a .nc file but it is not able
to.Should I create a .ctl file to open it. Any guidance will be
appreciated.Listed below is what i am trying to do.


ga-> sdfopen ~/Documents/grads/nhsce_v01r01_19661004_20140602.nc
Scanning self-describing file:  ~/Documents/grads/
nhsce_v01r01_19661004_20140602.nc
Error: nc_open failed to open file ~/Documents/grads/
nhsce_v01r01_19661004_20140602.nc
No such file or directory
gadsdf: Couldn't ingest SDF metadata.
