[gradsusr] Error in Temporal Correlation

For making sure, you just check once if lat and lon are same for both the
files with ncdump -c command.
A simple trick: try to merge those files using CDO or NCO. It will show you
if you have problem with incorrect grids.
To not to get these issues, I usually merge all the variables in a single
file.
