Dear All,
Brian and I are pleased to announce a new release of GrADS, version 2.1.0. We decided that this build is reliable enough to bypass the beta stage, and so we’ve given it a ‘stable’ version number.

New features include support for GRIB2 Product Definition Templates 60 and 61 (ensemble reforecasts), and for a secondary undef attribute name for NetCDF and HDF4 data types. There are also two new commands: ‘pdefwrite’ and ‘set misswarn’. Bug fixes include station data handling in the const() and coll2grd() functions, the infinite loop in gsfpath(), a tweak to the time metadata in the output from sdfwrite, and support for transparent colors in KML output.

The GrADS downloads web page (http://iges.org/grads/downloads.html) has been updated with links to the source code and pre-compiled binaries for 32-bit and 64-bit linux plus Mac OS X (10.9). The full text from the ChangeLog is copied below.

    * New command pdefwrite writes out internally calculated interpolation weights

        sdfopen will look for "missing_value" (primary) and "_FillValue" (secondary)
