[gradsusr] Averaging the weekly data to Monthly data

Dear Team,

I have a time-series data (weekly basis).
I want to average all the weeks of a month and store a single value for a month of the year.

Im using define a=ave(my_var, t=1, t=4)
 But then, I want the entire data to be saved as a netcdf file with time-series data so that I can use it directly.
Is it possible?

Or is there any other software? to edit the netcdf files and save as netcdf?
