[gradsusr] OPENING ".DAT" FORMAT

Hello everyone,

How do i open binary files with extension ".dat" in GrADS?
I tried using
DSET
But it always pops up with an error - Unknown Command.
Can someone help me out?
Is this the only way? Or is there any other command?
