[gradsusr] convert .grd file to .nc

Dear All

I wish to convert .grd file to netcdf file, I have read somewhere that I
must have a .ctl file associated with the .grd file in order to convert.
But unfortunately I don't have them, please suggest me the appropriate
method to perform the same conversion.
