[gradsusr] contours not plotting

Hi,

I have GrADS (2.1.a3) installed on two machines running openSuSe 13.2. I 
had not used GrADS since upgrading openSuSE a few months back, and I 
find that with the occasional exception, contours do not plot... only 
contour labels. This is the case on both machines, and across all 
versions (i.e. true also if I run GrADS 2.1.a1 or 2.0.2). I've tested on 
a number of different .ctl files and played with some basic things like 
set ccolor, set gxout, etc. There are no obvious problems with the 
ctlinfo, and the file preparation (g2ctl and gribmap) was fine (besides, 
the same problem occurs with files created ages ago, and which hitherto 
produced nice plots).

I suspect this is something to do with openSUSE. Any suggestions?
