[gradsusr] different tick marks

Hello,

I'd like to make a graph showing difference of a variable in time. For the graph 
to be clear, it would be nice to have two different kinds of tick marks: narrow 
ones for each hour and wider ones for midnight.

Is it possible to do this graphics in GrADS? The possible way would be to print 
the graph twice, each one with different settings, but I haven't find out how to 
change settings of time axis...
