[gradsusr] Masking the ocean

Dear Robert,
                I had also the similar problem. But hopefully I solved it.
In windows opengrads you will find a folder
C:/Opengrads/Contents/Resourses/Scripts/basemap.gs
You have to go there. Either download all the asc files like
lpoly_lowres.asc into some folder like D:/Expt or place the entire ascii
files in the above told opengrads folder. If you are placing them in
another folder, then you have to specify the path of the file after opening
the basemap.gs file. Then open the grads

Do something like this
'reinit'
'sdfopen air.2004.nc'
'set gxout shaded'
'd air'
'basemap L 0 1 L'

Then the land will be masked. For masking Ocean you need to specify O
instead of land. Best of Luck.

The same can be done in Linux with the path of basemap may be in Grads/lib/
and change it.
