[gradsusr] Putting legend closer to a plot

Dear gradusers,
I am novel in  using grads. I am plotting temperature as shaded and i would like my cbarn result to be closer to the plot. How can i do this.
I tried to set parea for x and y but this was just changing position of the plot. For example i want to plot this color bar on this map boundary, set lat -18  -9
set lon 32 36.5
