[gradsusr] Help in 2-D scatter plot

Dear users,
I am facing a problem in 2-D scatter plot. I am not able to understand
where am I doing mistake. Any help is highly appreciated.

I want to plot the temperature in the range of -5 to 5 (in X-axis) and
precipitation in the range of -10 to 10. But while I am plotting the below,
it is plotting all the values.

"set gxout scatter"
"set t 1 7300"
"set vrange -5 5"
"set vrange2 -10 10"
"d temp;prec"
