[gradsusr] Question

Hey Guys,
Just finished downloading/installing the GrADS software on the site. I am now going through this tutorial to help me get started: http://www.iges.org/grads/gadoc/tutorial.html

I am using a Mac Osx 10.7.5 and am on the "open model.ctl"  step. Whenever i type this command into terminal i get a prompt reading "can't open description file". Not sure what to do/why I am getting this error.
