[gradsusr] Problem in opening CLM4.5 soil moisture output

Hi John,

For GrADS 2 (which is recommended), you need to create a control file and open the file using xdfopen, following the instructions in the error message:
>   To open this file with GrADS, use a descriptor file with
>   a complete TDEF entry and OPTIONS 365_day_calendar.
