[gradsusr] How to place the wind legend/arrow in a desired place?

Dear all,


 Very basic question: 

I have a twelve panel plot  in which I
plot precipitation and then overlay the winds (see the attached figure).


From the figure, the wind legend (→)
is written at the bottom of every panel. How do I remove it and write
it sided by side with my precipitation colour bar?
