[gradsusr] Average, Line graph

I am relatively new to GrADS so please bare with me. I have a 10 year climate sample,  and my objective is to analyze the results for precipitation and atmospheric pressure and extrapolate some form of statistical data. My 2 questions are the following;

1) Is there a quick way i can average, for example, the month of February for the whole 10 years?
2) Is it possible to obtain a line graph of Air temperature vs Months where the air temperature of a month is the average value for that whole month. (obtaining just the value of the average air temperature for that month is also enough, no need for the line graph)
