[gradsusr] Scatter Plot

Hello Grads users,
I am trying to plot a scatter graphic using 'set gxout scatter' but every
time I am trying it don't work and appear one message that "buffer overflow
detected". I am attached the error message.
The script that I am using is:

'reinit'
'xdfopen amazonia.ctl'
'set display color white'
'c'

'set lat 2'
'set lon 300'
'set t 2 30'
'set gxout scatter'
'd h2osoi;rain'
'draw xlab SoilMoisture(mm3/mm3)'
'draw ylab Rain (mm)'

Can anybody help me?
I appreciate some help.
