[gradsusr] pngquant Install Failure

Good Evening All,

I'm trying to install the latest version of the GrADS-compatible version of pngquant and when I cd'd into the directory that I've untarred it in, it comes back with this error in the terminal:

[root at localhost pngquant-2.0.1]# make
gcc -Wall -Wno-unknown-pragmas -I. -I../libpng -I../zlib -I/usr/local/include/ -I/usr/include/ -I/usr/X11/include/ -DNDEBUG -O3 -fstrict-aliasing -ffast-math -funroll-loops -fomit-frame-pointer -ffinite-math-only -std=c99    -c -o pngquant.o pngquant.c
make: gcc: Command not found
make: *** [pngquant.o] Error 127

Has anyone run across this before?
