[gradsusr] Clean regions outside a shapefile

Dear Grads Users,
I am displaying a map in Opengrads, and trying to clean the results outside
a specific region defined in a Shapefile,
in a way similar when using "basemap" to clean ocean or land.
I tried "shp_polyf" and "draw shp", but what I could obtain was only the
countour of the region.
Could someone help me please?
