[gradsusr] gradsusr Digest, Vol 41, Issue 46

Hi everyone

i have ocean current data which is contained u velocity and v velocity.
in my data u and v have different number of grid.
my question is how to regrid the number of grid so i have same number of grid on u and v data.

i give my data at below.

ga-> sdfopen 1980_2008_uvel.nc
scanning self-decribing file: 1980_2008_uvel.nc
SDF file 1980_2008_uvel.nc is open as file 1
LON set to 90 15
LAT set to -20 20
LEV set to -10000 -10000
time values set 1980:1:14:10 1980:1:14:10
E set to 1 1
ga-> q file

xsize = 480 Ysize = 328 zsize = 46 Tsize =348 Esize = 1

Dear Davide,

I know from your explanation that with vint and -hdivg we can calculate
VIMFC ( vertically integrated moisture flux) but, I have a doubt if vint
function includes the reciprocal of gravitational force (g=9.81)..



d vint(const(ps,1000),-hdivg(u*qv,v*qv),100)),

where u,v are horizontal wind fields and qv is mixing ratio.

Does above code enough or I should input g term too?
