It depends, if the data is a gridded Level-3 data set then you should be able 
to read it with GrADS. Depending on how 'WELL' the file is written it may be 
self readable using the sdfopen call, otherwise you have to construct a GrADS 
control file. If it isn't gridded Level-3 data, then you probably shouldn't 
use GrADS to read it.
