[gradsusr] finding differences between two runs with ctl files having different number of variables

Dear Jennifer and Amulya:

        As Amulya suggested to use lterp command, I was just trying to
learn how to use that. And just now with this command which Jennifer
suggested, it looks like working! I think this should serve my purpose
hopefully..........
