[gradsusr] mean-temp of djfm 10 year period

Hey guys,

I'm trying to examine the 2-m temperature of the ERA-Interim reanalysis, especially the winter month's. So now I'd like to take an average over dec, jan, feb, mar for a 10 year period. Anyone have any tips on how to to it?

for the first winter I guess you just use,

define t2mdjfm=ave(t2m, t=12, t=15)

but I don't know how to do it when it's a certain interval in a longer time period.
