[gradsusr] opening modis hdf files

Thank you all for your help. H Ooi, your help really helped me; by including
'options yrev' - I could open with correct projection. I have separate file
for each time step so I will have to make a loop to open all the files. For
anyone who is trying to open modis hdf, I am re-writing the complete script
for everyone's reference.

Hi Sergey,

 

      Thank you for your help shown to Sagar.  I think the .ctl file should
look like as attached (yrev is needed in options).  However, I have one
question.  The data refers to only one time step.  How should I modify the
file name (....A2003121.005.2007....hdf => the processing time differs from
file to file) and tdef correspondingly if there are several time steps (say,
121, 122, 123 etc as in day of year perpetual calendar) ?
