Dear GrADS users,
I have generated a GrADS readable netcdf file from my model netcdf
files by using following simple script.
'reinit'
'sdfopen precip_hiram1.nc'
'sdfopen precip_hiram2.nc'
'sdfopen precip_hiram3.nc'
'set lon -180 180'
'set lat -90 90'
'set time 16jan1979 16dec2002'
'define preciphiram=(precip.1+precip.2+precip.3)/3'
'define pre=preciphiram'
'set sdfwrite precip_GrADS_ensemble3Runs.nc'
'sdfwrite pre'
I can open above GrADS generated "precip_GrADS_ensemble3Runs.nc" file
using GrADS but some time it gives me following error.
%%%%Error message%%%%%%
gadsdf: Time increment too large for 'minutes since' time units attribute
%%%%%%%%%%
If I just open it again it works fine. I am using this GrADS netcdf
file in my script where I am working on many other files. If this file
somehow doesn't open in first attempt then my whole script becomes
useless. What is the possible issue and how to get rid of this error.
Thanks,
Mubashar
