[gradsusr] Feature suggestion - Add alpha channel / transparency value to 'set rgb'

Hi,
with the introduction of 'draw shp', it is now possible to create more
optically pleasing charts which is an important point if you render
charts for a mainstream audience. 'gxout shaded', however still produces
solid coloring which partially negates that advantage.
I would like to propose to add a transparency value to the 'set rgb'
command, such as 'set rgd <no> <red> <green> <blue> <transparency>'.
With such an option, it would e.g be possible to create gradients of the
same color but with varying transparency.
With this it would be possible to render e.g. cloud-cover or
precipitation maps which are easily grasped by a mainstream audience.
Additionally, it would be possible to render meaningful composite charts
with multiple parameters, where overlapping contour plots would produce
very confusing images.
Greetings from Finland,
Stefan
