[gradsusr] Vector plt from gr2stn

I am trying to plot interpolated vectors/wind barbs varying in time at a
point location using the following expression:

 

'set gxout barb'

 

.

.

.

 

'd gr2stn(ugrd10m*1.943844, 'long','lati');gr2stn(vgrd10m*1.943844,
'long', 'lati')'

 

However the output is always a line graph of only the first expression,
i.e gr2stn(ugrd10m*1.943844, 'long','lati')

 

I know I cannot use 'define' and gr2stn, so can someone point me in the
right diection?
