Hi Kishore,
A very first step to display the variable that you want it is to add in
your script the command display (e.g. display u or simply d u).
I recommend you to start with the tutorial and the documentation available
at:
http://www.iges.org/grads/gadoc/index.html
If you want to obtain an ascii output of the data, you can use the script
fprintf.gs, which fully explained in:
http://cookbooks.opengrads.org/index.php?title=Recipe-002:_Saving_GrADS_variable_data_to_a_text_file
