Dear sir,

 I got some other solution. I don't know if it is right.

 script is..

sdfopen example.nc
set lon .....
set lat .....
set lev ....
set time ....
define var1
sdfwrite var1

is giving grads.sdfwrite.nc file which contains the file with my
desired variable only.....

could you please confirm me that it is right?
