[gradsusr] question about gxout tserbarb

Dear GrADS user forum,
 
I would like to create a time series of wind barbs for a given station. I have 19 stations in my station data file.
How do I tell GrADS which station I want? This would be similar to setting x and Y to a specific point on a gridded
dataset. From the website I gleaned the following:
 
   'open station-9mar2011.ctl'
   'set t 1 15'
   'set gxout tserbarb'
   'd u(stid=Agricola);v(stid=Agricola)'
 
But it responds with the following error:

Data Request Error: Invalid dimension expression
  Attempt to set or modify varying dimension
  Variable = u, Dimension = 11
  Error ocurred at column 1
DISPLAY error:  Invalid expression
  Expression = u(stid=agricola)
 
Here is the content of my control file:
 
   dset station-9mar2011.dat
   dtype station
   stnmap station-9mar2011.map
   undef 9999.0
   title 9 March 2011
   tdef 96 linear 00:00Z09mar2011 15mn
   vars 5
   t   0 99 temperature
   td  0 99 dew point temperature
   p   0 99 sea level pressure
   u   0 99 zonal wind
   v   0 99 meridional wind
   endvars
 
Any ideas would be welcome.
