[gradsusr] 1yr time increment

Hello,

I have daily variables for 10 years, and I want to compute the annual 
cycle averaging the 10 years for each day:

open d01_daily.ctl
define climt2=ave(t2,time=01jan2001,time=31dec2001,1yr)

But, I get:

Error from AVE: Invalid time increment argument
Operation Error:  Error from ave function
   Error ocurred at column 1
DEFINE error:  Invalid expression.

The 1yr time increment only works with monthly values!?
I don't want to use 365 because leap-years.
