Hello Grads users,
I want to compute EOF using the Matthias Munnich code (http://www.atmos.ucla.edu/~munnich/Grads/EOF/). However, the installation instruction is based on the COLA build of Grads, but I'm using the Opengrads version. So the installation instruction on the said page as well as on a previous mail on this user-group (http://gradsusr.org/pipermail/gradsusr/2010-November/011765.html) does not apply in my case.
It's seems the major issue is how to deal with the User Defined Function included in the zipped file. Where is the "eofudf" supposed to be installed in Opengrads, and how do I do that ? I tried placing it in the .../SupportData/tables or in ....../Scripts folder, but that doesn't work.
I use opengrads v2.0.a9 on Linux (laptop and server). Windows is also an option but "eofudf.exe" fails to run when I tried it on Windows XP, also on Opengrads.
Is anyone out there using the code in Opengrads on Windows or Linux ? Please kindly share your experience(s) with me.
Thanks in advance,
Hyacinth
