[gradsusr] black page on grads!!!!

I am not sure if i get your question, 

but to remove the balck page and show a white page

'set display color white'
'clear'

that solves your problem i hope.  

Also for calculations of daily and average, you could use cdo...documentation is found here. http://www.mpimet.mpg.de/fileadmin/software/cdo/cdo.pdf

Merry Christmas,

I read the material in sample file and i installed grads, but when i tried to run the commands inside the  sample file , i just saw a black page which didn't change. so, could you please help me with that? and also , i am a begginer and i would like to use grads to take daily and monthly average from hourly netcdf file, do you think this software it the correct choice?
