[gradsusr] Shell (!) command stopped working after windows security patch - GrADS ver 2.0.a4.oga.1

Hi there,

 

Our systems admin added a few windows security patches yesterday and I'm
no longer able to use the !shell commands in windows.

 

All !Commands pause for a while then go back to the GrADS prompt ga-> no
matter what shell command I give (gibberish or otherwise)

 

I wonder if anyone could shed some light on this? Is it possible I need
to update some of the application extensions?
