[gradsusr] How to calculate shear between two levels

Dear Users

Am having two netcdf files 1. uwnd 2. vwnd (ncep/ncar reanalysis)
Have to calculate shear between 850 & 200 levels
i.e uwnd at (850 & 200),  vwnd at  (850 & 200)
now have to fix the levels fixed (i.e 850 & 200) for these files
hence want to find shear between these two  levels
can anybody help?
