This file has level 2 (swath type) data and therefore not well suited for
GrADS. Level 3 data are often on a lat-lon grid and even if the HDF file is
not COARDS compliant you can write a DDF to guide GrADS.

A single Level 2 file can in principle be read in GrADS with the
appropriate PDEF, but it is just too much trouble.
