[gradsusr] Plotting Satellite Data

Plotting satellite data with GrADS seems to be a reoccurring question.

GrADS can handle the contour levels used to generate the satellite imagery
as seen
in the attached NAM simulated GOES 12 channel 3 brightness temperatures.

Is there a way to convert the gini format to grib2 or netcdf so the data
can be plotted
in GrADS or is it possible to add support for this file format in a future
release?
