[gradsusr] GrADS-DODs

Hello Teddy,
I'm using windows 7 and installed opengrads from the
grads-2.0.a9.oga.1-win32_superpack.exe.

have no problem doing sdfopen

As John suggested, try a reinstall or redownload and reinstall.
