Dear Gamal,
yes, it is possible. I think you have to use:
grads -lc 'run rain.gs ophelia.ctl'
In your rain.gs you have to use the "function main" with arguments. Here is
an example:
* Grads-script for zonal mean and its deviation
function main(args)
first=subwrd(args,1)
second=subwrd(args,1)
say 'first argument: 'first
say ' second argument: ' second
return
